Understanding General GPA Calculations
Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is the primary metric used to evaluate your academic performance. It summarizes your grades over a semester or your entire academic career. The General GPA Formula
To calculate GPA, convert each letter grade to its corresponding point value, multiply that value by the class credits (to get honor points), add all honor points together, and divide by the total credits.
GPA Calculation Formula:

Step-by-Step General Example
Suppose you took the following 3 classes:
• Course A (3 credits): A (4.0) × 3 = 12.0 pts
